The whole school attended the final 'Lenten Tree' assembly in church this morning. Reverend Kim Lafferty continued her telling of the Easter Story before accompanying some children to place the last symbols on the tree outside Kearsley Methodist Church. The series of assemblies has helped children to understand the importance of the events leading up to Easter Sunday - when the tree will be covered in flowers to celebrate the Resurrection.
