Reception Class Photograph

Our new Reception Class will have their photograph taken which will be published in a special supplement of 'New Classes' in the Bolton News. Keep your eyes open for the supplement in the autumn.

Scarecrow Festival

Once again we are taking part in the Kearsley Scarecrow Festival. Programmes containing lots of information including the address location of every scarecrow are available throughout the day.

Church Bingo and Coffee Evening

St Stephen's Church are holding a Bingo and Coffee evening in the School Hall. Enjoy a brew while 'one little duck and two fat ladies' play a little bingo.

Harvest Service

Come and join us for our annual Harvest Festival in St Stephen's Church. The children may bring in non-perishable goods on the day of the service which will be donated to the Kearsley and Farnworth Foodbank for distribution into the community.

Book Fair

Take a look at the great selection of books for you and your child to buy. All commission earned during 'Book Week' is used to buy extra books for the classroom or library for our children' use. Christmas is just around the corner so now might be the time to start Christmas shopping.

Year 5 Residential

Our Year 5 class will set off for Grasmere to take part in a field trip where they will study a contrasting locality to our own. The studies undertaken on this excursion form the basis of all the work the children do in class this half term.

School Photographs

The photographer is coming into school to take your child's school photograph. If you have more than one child in school, they will be photographed together. If you wish to have pre-school children photographed with those who attend St Stephen's, please come into school at 8.45 a.m.

Year 6 Residential

Year 6 will set off for Dearne Valley to take part in an exciting outdoor activity residential. The planned programme will challenge the children, help in their personal development, increase confidence and provide a sense of achievemnent. The children will also develop social skills and understanding of each other.
