Using Where’s Wally the children are using retrieval (skimming and scanning) skills. They are then writing their own expanded noun phrases to describe characters in the picture for their partner to locate.

Today we learnt about the importance of Ash Wednesday and had a special visit from Reverend Kim.

Reverend Kim came to lead our school assembly this morning and found herself in a sea of red & white stripes as the school celebrated World Book Day by dressing as the character from 'Where's Wally?'. Always game for a laugh, she suggested we played Where's Reverend Kim? instead. Have you spotted…

Today we combined science, maths, English , history and D.T to create these impressive Anglo Saxon poos based on research from the time period.

Our Walking Bus is going strong and ready for their daily march to school.

This afternoon Mr Lasan came to visit us to share his Learning Log.  He showed us lots of photographs from his trip to Gambia.  We had a great time and learnt lots of new things.  Thank you Mr Lasan!
