This afternoon we are painting our Ndebele artwork.
Winter Trees
This afternoon we have been outside looking at the trees. We have talked about what happened to the snow that landed on the branches. We are now creating art work inspired by the trees.
Year 5 are a force to be reckoned with...
Today we explored measuring gravity through exploration of weight and mass...a very tricky concept but Sir Isaac Newton would have been impressed .
Learning by Questions
This afternoon Year 6 have trialled Learning by Questions - they seem to like it so far!
Snowballs at Dawn!
Not exactly dawn - more like half past ten - but the threat was just as real. We had great fun snowballing during morning break - some of the children are pretty good shots - I was glad to hear the sound of the bell ringing (or was that my ears?)

We have been learning about Ndebele art from South Africa. This afternoon we are creating our own versions.
Publishing Books
Year 6 are working hard to put their final version of a piece of writing into their new publishing books.
Smiling IS Infectious!
Following my assembly on Monday - which included the poem 'Smiling is Infectious' - one of the Year Two pupils brought me a lovely poster she had made at home to display in school. It certainly brought a smile to MY face (and YOURS too I'll bet). THANK YOU!
