This jigsaw certainly tested your children's understanding of the number system. Well done in particular to Kaisi, Ella, Connie and Nathan who showed great mathematical growth mindset. 

Still fulfilling our national requirements we embarked on mathematical mayhem with midget gems representing numbers in different ways. We also played multiple towers using mathematical reasoning and facts. I loved getting the children to think differently. 

In support of dyslexia awareness month we downed our writing implements and commenced operation no pens Wednesday .

Today we have been outside completing lots of different Maths challenges.  We've been looking for numbers, making shapes and solving puzzles.  It was lots of fun!

This afternoon we have tested our senses. We did a crisp taste test and a jelly smell test. We had to guess the flavours by the taste and smell.

It may look like chaos, but we are actually starting to make our WWII air-raid shelters.
