This morning we were very lucky to have two ex-miners visit our classroom who spoke to us about what life was like in the pits. It really helped with our learning about the Unity Brook disaster and of what life was like in Kearsley during the Industrial Revolution.

We are amazed by how much Sylvia, Teddy, Doris and Sid have grown over the short time which we have had them. They are lovely class pets to have and we all take great pride in taking care of them.
