Our class read was a huge hit especially having had the live zoom with the author, Emma Carroll. We read it after studying Ancient Egypt so the children were very good at identifying the fact and fiction that Emma Carroll cleverly entwined in this historical fiction. 
We have purchased other Emma Carroll books after the level of interest and the children are keen to see how they compare to this fantastic book.
