This morning we were very lucky to have Ann visit our class. Ann works at the library in Bolton. She loves books and telling stories. We listened really carefully to lots of lovely stories.

Keep it up in all you do! 

A visit from our local library representative to share their wealth of wonderful stories. Going down a storm in Year 2 was a rhyming couplet book called "Poo in the zoo!" Let's hope our budding authors are ready to write their own epic tale of their scarecrow pirate! 

A GOOD day from start to finish - plenty of hard work in the classrooms, no dramas in the playground, good manners in the dining hall - and all played out to the sound track of music and singing as Mr Lee, our music specialist, put the children through their paces.

Well done!

Year 1 have been busy all week making their scarecrow.  We hope you will come and have a look tomorrow at the scarecrow festival.

To help us learn about Harvest we have been tasting lots of different fruits and vegetables.  We tried;

• Mango
• Celery
• Radish
• Pomegranate 
• Watermelon 
• Cucumber 

We really liked some of them, but weren't as keen on others...
